MSS installed several solar arrays for the Detroit Public Schools. As part of the 2009-2011 Renewable Energy Program, we installed a 20 kW array at Cass Tech High School and a 2.4 kW sky stream wind turbine at Mark Twain Elementary. Other solar installations for Detroit Public Schools include Henry Ford High School 5 kW ground mount solar with 4 1.2 kW wind turbines and a 6 kW array for Sherman Academy. These installations are saving energy costs while exposing students to renewable energy and its benefits.
